“A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands. ”

— Proverbs 14:1

(This is not only for the married women, but it also applies to single women as well).

Are you a wise woman? Do you create an atmosphere of peace, love and joy in your home or every time you walk in the house everyone is nervous because you switch attitudes like handbags?

Can your husband confide in you or he’d rather keep things to himself because of your negativity?

Does your husband avoid coming home because of your constant nagging? Do you add joy wherever you go or do people avoid you because they do not know what to expect that day?

Are your children on edge whenever you are around? Can others speak positively about your character and integrity? Do you add to your environment/home or subtract from it?

These questions are not here for condemnation, but rather self-reflection, so that we as women can look within ourselves, change, be all that God has called us to be and positively impact our families, our environment, our world.

We can not be perfect, but we can get better. Yes, it is true, you can not control the actions of others, but you can certainly control how you respond. Ladies, let’s build our homes, so that when the enemy comes, he sees no avenue to come through!

With love, Grace
